Frankie is a black and white smooth coat purebred border collie. At the tender age of 1 and due to no fault of her own she ended up in a shelter in Kentucky when her owner had to go into a nursing home. Luckily Comebye Border Collie Rescue found out about her. We adopted Frankie in December 2017 and she started working for WGC soon after.
Two of her favorite things in life are the chase and meeting people. She is always eager to learn new skills, especially if it means she’ll earn rewards. Any treat will do. When she is not working she helps out around the horse barn. Her favorite game is playing fetch with a ball.
Frankie works exclusively with her owner/handler Sonja Klattenberg on the west route.
